Messi: Legend Baseball World Cup Champion Should Keep

Barcelona: Lionel Messi led Argentina to the World Cup in Brazil this summer. Hailed as the star, El Messiah is not too upset with public expectations.

"Saya rasa banyak pemain yang dianggap terbaik tanpa harus memenangkan Piala Dunia. Tetapi jelas memenangkan Piala Dunia akan sangat istimewa. Saya berharap kami berada di Rio (tempat final Piala Dunia 2014) menikmati hari di sana, mudah-mudahan kita bisa mencapai final," kata  Messi.

Musim ini, Messi harus membagi perhatian antara klub dan negara karena menjelang Piala Dunia Brasil. Striker Barcelona itu memang bertekad untuk membuat publik Argentina senang dengan mengangkat trofi Piala Dunia di tanah Brasil.

"Sebenarnya Saya tidak berpikir banyak tentang hal itu. Saya tidak bisa membayangkan, tapi Saya tahu Brasil akan penuh oleh warga Argentina karena jarak yang begitu dekat. Ada keinginan untuk mewujudkan mimpi warga Argentina akan trofi Piala Dunia."
